The only certified cool place to hang out in Sunnydale, the Bronze is a club in the bad side of town. Most nights there's a DJ, but they also feature live bands pretty regularly as well. The bartenders are sometimes lax on checking IDs.

There are several large cemeteries in Sunnydale, and they just keep expanding. It's probably not the best idea to go roaming them at night.

A peaceful little park, there are some pretty, well-tended gardens bordering Reardon Park, and a nice jogging path. In the center, there's a jungle-gym area for kids. A little lake adds atmosphere to the place - an atmosphere that's perhaps a bit ruined by the cemetery slowly expanding closer to the park.

A little bookshop in town, Book Stew! doesn't have many obscure books, but it does have all the popular new releases. There's a little cafe in the middle of the store, with plush chairs where one can sit, read, and relax for a while.

The Sunnydale Zoo is pretty unremarkable as far as zoos go, hosting just the usual creatures. It's a good place to take the kids, though, or maybe go on a first date. The schools sometimes have field trips here.

The more valuable artifacts always go to larger museums, but the Sunnydale Museum of Natural History hosts a modest amount of fascinating historical items. They even boast a few full dinosaur skeletons, though their main focus is on anthropological history.

There is a total of forty-three churches in Sunnydale, some large and extravagant, and some no more impressive than a rented-out lot in a strip mall. It seems there's something about living on the Hellmouth that makes people concerned for their eternal souls.

Your one-stop shop for magical supplies! The Magic Box has everything a practitioner could ask for, and whatever they don't have, they can probably special-order on request. They keep the more powerful and rare items in the back, with decoy tarot decks, candles, and voodoo dolls at the front for customers there for a cheap thrill, and not in the know.

When all else fails, the mall is there. Stores include Meyer Sports and Tackle, where guns and other hunting supplies can be bought, and Continental Hair Design. The mall features many clothing stores, a modest food court, including a Doublemeat Palace, and the usual mall stores - Hot Topic, Claire's, etc. The Sun Cinema is also attached to the mall, so many students get food from the food court and sneak it into the theater.

Sunnydale is just a short drive from the ocean, so there's a fair boating commerce. The docks get kind of creepy at night, though.

Kids growing up in Sunnydale are warned from as soon as they can walk not to go into Miller's Woods alone, and never to go in at all come nightfall.

If you walk down the beach far enough, eventually the sand turns into firm earth, which rises up until you get to Kingman's Bluff, a bunch of rocky cliffs that you'd doubtfully survive a fall from.

In the summertime, practically all of Sunnydale's residents migrate to the beach, which is just about a half-hour's drive from town. In the cooler months, though, it's practically deserted.

The Fish Tank is a somewhat trashy bar known for being the target of police raids. They don't ask questions, though, and never card.

A gothic night club in which vampire-wannabe posers and vampire worshippers gather. Those who are known to go here are often the targets of complete and utter mockery by their classmates.

Billy's is a demon bar owned by a human slimeball, unsurprisingly named Billy. He can be a source of useful information, though, if you can pay the price or use the right leverage.

It's fun to stay at the YMCA! If you need a good place to work out, the local YMCA has a great weight room and both an indoor and outdoor pool (with hot tubs), for swimming in all seasons.

At this ostentatiously decorated tattoo parlor, one can get any sort of tattoo or piercing they desire from the owner, Jinx Holloway, or one of her equally talented associates.

One of the few fancy restaurants in town, La Belle Dame serves some exquisite Italian food. The restaurant is low-lit, and features fake-but-real-looking floral arrangements all over the place. They even have fake vines climbing up the fake stone walls!

An indoors ice rink towards the edge of town, the Sunnydale Ice Palace is fairly popular year-round.

The Sunnydale Motor Inn is a rat-trap motel with tiny rooms that charges eighteen dollars a day. Good if you need a place to lie low for a while.

The Sunspot Motel is more high-class - and thus more expensive - than the Sunnydale Motor Inn, but still not exactly the Ritz.

UC Sunnydale is the local university, a branch of the University of California, and where the general population of Sunnydale High ends up going, if they survive high school - literally - and if they decide to go to college. On campus can be found The Grotto, a popular student coffee shop, and the Rocket Cafe, the student dining facility.

A tiny airport, with not many destination options. They have regular flights to L.A. and San Francisco, though, where you can change flights and continue on to anywhere around the world.
